TRIVIA: Australia-only mini-album release, featuring a selection of Michael Jackson's recent hit singles from the 'Thriller' album. Includes the previously unreleased extended versions of 'Billie Jean' and 'Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' on CD-format. Although these two tracks are often thought of as 'extended-mixes' that were created for their respective single releases, they are in fact the original versions. Due to the timing limitations of the vinyl disc (which was the standard format in the 1980's), edited versions of the tracks were created to enable them to fit onto the LP-format album of 'Thriller'. Despite the introduction of the CD (which enables longer play-back), the original extended versions have never been re-incorporated into the tracklisting of the 'Thriller' album (surprisingly not even on the 'Special Edition' release).
