TRIVIA: A double-disc unreleased sampler of the 'Dangerous' album, featuring never-before-heard studio recordings, extended versions, special remixes and unreleased album tracks.

In 2001 a selection of Michael Jackson's back-catalogue of albums were re-mastered and re-released with additional material (interviews and unreleased recordings) as 'Special Editions.' The release of the 'Dangerous - Special Edition' album caused some controversy, as it featured no bonus material - a great disappointment to fans of the album.

This double-disc sampler reveals the plethora of extra tracks that had been scheduled for inclusion on the commercial-release 'Dangerous Special Edition' album, but were unfortunately cancelled.

The extremely rare 2-disc pack was used to demonstrate the material for the proposed second disc of the 'Special Edition' release. A wealth of rare and highly sought after recordings are contained in this amazing album sampler.

CD Samplers Explained:

Sometimes referred to as a 'CD-Acetates' or 'White-Labels', such sample-CDs are most commonly pressed on writable discs. The CDs are not factory-made (as commercial release CDs are), and are produced in very limited quantities directly at the 'mixing-suite', to showcase musical content and sleeve designs. Sample-CDs are frequently mistaken as Promo CDs, which they are not. Such samplers are unreleased, un-catalogued recordings made by outside sources (not by record labels) for demonstration purposes, as is the industry standard, and thus have NOT been created by Epic, Sony or MJJ Productions.
